Barbara Anderson was named General Sales Manager for WBAL-TV in June 2005.Anderson began her broadcasting career at WMAR-TV in Baltimore as an account executive. In 1994, she joined WBAL-TV in that same capacity and twice received the Hearst Eagle Award for salesperson of the year. In 1997, she was promoted to Local Sales Manager of WBAL-TV.She is a member of the marketing board of the National Aquarium in Baltimore and is a past Vice President of the Advertising Association of Baltimore. Anderson holds an MBA from the University of Baltimore.
