Hundreds of people jumped in the Chesapeake Bay Saturday to raise money for Special Olympics Maryland, and organizers said the fundraiser netted more than $3 million. About 10,000 people overall participated.Throughout Saturday morning, personalities from WBAL TV 11 News, WBAL 1090 AM and 98 Rock took the plunge on live television to raise funds for the cause.In addition, 98 Rock said its morning newsman, Josh Speigel, hugged just more than 1,000 people in 42 minutes Saturday afternoon, setting a new unofficial world record. A representative from the Guiness Book of World Records was on hand at Sandy Point State Park to observe the record-breaking feat.Use the photos below to watch video from Saturday's event and view donation pages.
