OWINGS MILLS -- Baltimore Ravens standout tackle Kelly Gregg became the second defensive lineman who started in 2007 to be placed on injured reserve this season. Gregg joined tackle Dwan Edwards, who started 13 games a year ago, on the season-ending list. “These are two very good players, but we expect both back next season. Kelly is expected to be ready for the start of our organized team activities (OTAs) in the spring,” Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said.Gregg had arthroscopic micro-fracture surgery on his knee yesterday in Birmingham, Ala. The surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews, who also operated yesterday on rookie tackle Joe Reitz, who is on the Ravens’ practice squad injured reserve.Replacing Gregg on the roster is tackle Brandon McKinney, a third-year player from Michigan State. McKinney, who backed up Pro Bowler Jamal Williams, started 2 games for the Chargers in 2007 and was released by San Diego last Saturday.
