Ever wonder what life is like in a war zone?

Many of us know at least one friend or relative serving in the War on Terror or Operation Iraqi Freedom, and often we wonder what it's like for those loved one to be far from home in such a volatile environment.

Now, soldiers from Maryland are able to share their experiences with those of us waiting for their return.

Below you will find interviews with local soldiers discussing their experiences during the war, what motivates them while they're there -- and the things they miss most about home.
