Take a look at some of the events taking place in the area for July 4.

Baltimore City

  • Baltimore's 4th of July celebration:

  • Located at Light and Pratt streets. Concerts by Smooth Teaze and Uptown East from 3-8 pm. The U.S. Naval Academy Band will perform on stage from 8:30-9:30 p.m. at the Amphitheater. The US Coast Guard Sanibel will arrive in the Inner Harbor on July 5 at 6pm and dock at Pier 1 (constellation dock). Visiting hours are Sunday, July 6 from 8-10 a.m.
    The Fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m. and can be viewed at several locations downtown includuing Federal hill, Fells Point, Canton and Rash field.

  • Visionary Pets on Parade:

  • Dress up your pets and stay for a talent show. Trophies will be awarded for Best Costume, Most Patriotic, Owner & Pet Look-alikes, and more. PETS OF ALL KINDS ARE WELCOME. Owners are responsible for pets behavior and bodily functions. Baggies and water will be provided. Pets must be leashed or carried.

  • Independence Day Fireworks Cruise:

  • 4-hour cruise with delight buffet, cash bar, DJ and fireworks display.

  • 7th Annual Waterfront Jazz and Arts Festival:

  • Hanover Street and Waterview Avenue
    6-11 p.m.
    Join Magic 95.9’s Jammer and enjoy live jazz by Fertile Ground, Rhonda Thomas, Jazz Vision, and cultural arts performances. Parking is $5.

  • Star-Spangled Spectacular with Fireworks:

  • The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will play patriotic favorites at Oregon Ridge's outdoor amphitheater.

  • Catonsville's 62nd annual July 4th Celebration:
  • Kids games and races start at 9 a.m. at Catonsville High School
    Parade at 3 p.m. on Frederick Rd.; Firworks at 9 p.m.
    Rain Date: July 5-fireworks only

  • Dundalk Heritage Association Independence Day Parade:
  • Patriotic parade hosts 16 bands, floats, marching units, decorated vehicles and heritage fair (admission fee).

  • Annapolis Alive! Independence Day Celebration:
  • Live music and entertainment, Tours of Mr. Paca's home, Revolutionary War reenactors, historical figures, readings of the Declaration of Independence and patriotic crafts.

  • Electric Brigade performance:
  • United States Naval Academy Band will perform. Concerts are free and open to the public with no tickets required.

  • Annapolis Harbor fireworks; DJ on Friday with snacks, cash bar and multiple boats.

  • See this great patriotic exhibition! This exhibition is focusing on the work of Thomas Fletcher and Sidney Gardiner and their influence on the silversmith trade. The exhibition will include a selection of swords, medals, commemorative works, vases, and flatware in silver and gold.
